Manufacturing industry event for networking and showcasing Cleveland State’s EMDiS Center (Entrepreneurial Manufacturer Digitization Support) faculty expertise as well as promote involvement in Engineering Senior Design Projects for the upcoming ’22-23 academic year.
Attendees will be able to meet with Business and Engineering faculty members to learn about their research, real-world applications, expertise, and industry-level support. All instructors are members of the EMDiS Center, so their work centers around Smart Manufacturing (Industry 4.0) technologies and concepts. The Center objectives are to create and/or grow partnership opportunities for businesses needing support on advancing their operations through Smart Manufacturing.
CSU will also be promoting involvement in our Engineering Senior Design Projects, a great way for industry to present CSU senior engineers with a real-world industry problem. These projects will begin in September and run through the full academic year. Cost is minimal to companies, and it is a great way to tap into the engineering talent pipeline at CSU while finding an operational/engineering solution along the way.
Lastly, we will open several Engineering labs for tours and demos lead by the instructors and/or their graduate students. Some state-of-the-art labs include the Additive Manufacturing lab (AM2P), Rockwell Automation Connected Enterprises lab, and Parker Hannifin Motion Controls lab.
Snacks and beverages will be provided. No cost to attend and parking will be validated.
